Ask your Datadog data anything
Logs, metrics and traces, read-only unless your Datadog role says otherwise. Connect it to Insighter and Aira answers questions in plain language, builds charts, watches numbers for you, and runs the follow-up work you approve.
How it connects
Connects through the vendor's official MCP server. The tool list is pinned when you connect, reads run freely, and anything that changes data waits for your approval.
What you get
- Answers in plain language, every one citing where it came from
- Alerts when a number worth watching moves
- Automations that draft the work and wait for your approval
- Per-person access rules: row filters, hidden columns, plain-language guardrails
Datadog's address depends on which site your account is on
- Your server address is https://mcp.datadoghq.{site}/v1/mcp with your own site in place of {site}: datadoghq.com for US1, datadoghq.eu for EU, or us3, us5, ap1, ap2, uk1. It is the same domain you sign in to Datadog on.
- Paste that into the Server URL field, then sign in when prompted.
- Writing is gated by Datadog's own mcp_write permission on your role, not only by the Actions setting here. If your role does not have it, Aira reads and nothing more, whatever this source is set to.
